Giant Backyard Lawn Games
Set up a station of DIY giant lawn games — jumbo Jenga, cornhole and ring toss — to keep guests of all ages entertained at any outdoor gathering.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Cut the Jenga Blocks
Cut 54 identical blocks from lengths of 90x45mm pine (each about 240mm long) for the giant Jenga tower.
Sand Everything Smooth
Sand all blocks and boards thoroughly so there are no rough edges or splinters.
Build the Cornhole Boards
Make two angled boards from ply with a 15cm hole near the top, and sew or buy four bean bags.
Make the Ring Toss
Fix wooden pegs into a base board, and use rope rings or rubber quoits to throw over them.
Paint & Number
Optionally paint scoring numbers on the ring-toss pegs and add fun colours to the cornhole boards.
Set Up the Station
Arrange the games in a flat corner of the yard with a small sign of the rules for each.
Safety Notes
Sand all cut timber smooth to avoid splinters. Site games on flat ground away from tables, and supervise young children around the tall Jenga tower.
Waste & Recycling Tips
Use untreated pine offcuts from a timber yard, and store the finished games to reuse for years of parties.
