Step-by-Step Instructions
Press the Napkins
Iron cloth napkins flat so folds hold their shape crisply.
Pick a Fold
Choose one simple fold to repeat — the pocket fold (to hold cutlery) or a fan fold both look smart and are quick.
Fold in Batches
Fold all the napkins the same way in one go so the table looks uniform.
Make the Place Cards
Cut small cards, fold them to stand, and write each guest's name in your best lettering or a printed font.
Add a Detail
Tuck a sprig of greenery, a single flower, or a ribbon into each napkin, and rest the place card on top.
Set the Table
Position each napkin and place card consistently at every setting for a polished, welcoming look.
